MARSTONS MILLS – Henry Eugene "Gene" Dennis Jr., 70, of Marstons Mills, died peacefully, surrounded by family on Sept. 4, 2023. Gene was born on Feb. 20, 1953, in Oroville, CA, devoted son of the late Henry and Eleanor (Ford) Dennis. He was raised in Yuba City, CA and formerly of San Francisco, CA, where he graduated from San Francisco State with a Bachelor's Degree in music. He went on to have a long and rewarding career as a Senior Manager for FedEx. Gene is survived by his loving wife of 43 years and best friend, Chris E. (Hession) Dennis; loving Papa to grandchildren, Brandon Fenton, Emma White, Jacob White, and the late Livie White; dear brother to siblings, Colleen McBroom, Robert (Steve) Dennis, and the late David Dennis; cherished uncle to many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Gene's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements under the direction of Chapman Funerals & Cremations (Marstons Mills).
