Nancy's obituary was added to her memorial on April 8, 2024 ----Judy Johnson --------------------------------- Nancy L. Wirka, 75 years, of North Bend NE, passed away Monday, September 11, 2023, at Parkview Nursing Home in Dodge. Nancy was born in North Bend, July 11, 1948, to William "Bill" and Agnes (Mach) Wirka. Nancy lived a full life and will be remembered for her love of gardening, fishing, animals, and travel. She was a creative person, inspiring others through her art and crafts and cooking. She was an active member of St. Charles Catholic Church in North Bend, where she was a CCD teacher. Nancy was a devoted grandmother, always up for adventure. She was a close friend to many and her presence will be missed. Nancy is survived by her two children, Patrick (Mary) Sedlacek including five grandchildren, Wyatt, Nolan, Jackson, Ella, and Ig; Stacey (Keller) Sedlacek-Kopf including three grandchildren, Fletcher, Indigo, and Kip; sister, Patricia (Jerry) Kammerer of Platte Center. NE; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Dave. Memorial visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Graveside service is 10:00 AM, Friday, April 12, 2024 at St.John's Catholic Cemetery in Prague, NE.
