Scott Edward Bartz, age 51, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, died Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born March 3, 1972 in Fayetteville, the son of George Herbert and Rachel (Bradley) Bartz. He was preceded in death by his step-father Loyal "Wayne" Garrett; paternal grandparents, Peter and Ruth Bartz; and maternal grandparents, Robert and Mae Bradley. Survivors include his father, George Bartz (and wife, Connie) of Fayetteville; his mother, Rachel Garrett of Fayetteville; his daughter, Addyson Thorn of Dyer, Arkansas; two brothers, Kyle Bartz (and wife, Erin) of Springdale, Arkansas and Kevin Garrett (and wife, Misty) of West Fork, Arkansas; six sisters, Devetta McKay (and husband, Mike) of Missouri, Carol Tanner of Springdale, Sheila White (and husband, Wayman) of Wesley, Arkansas, Denise McAneair (and husband, Brian of Arkansas, Brandi Bowers (and husband, Doug) of Anderson, Missouri, and Bridgett Bartz of Seattle, Washington; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be 7:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, September 4, 2023 at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Black Oak Cemetery near Winslow, Arkansas.
