St. Joseph News-Press (St. Joseph, Missouri) 28 Mar 1935, Thu, Page 1 INJURED MAN DIES Pneumonia Developed Following Accident to Lee Comstock. Lee Comstock, fifty-five years old of Gower, died this morning at St. Joseph's Hospital from pneumonia which is said to have developed from injuries suffered several days ago when he was struck by a motor truck while walking on U.S. highway No. 169 near Gower. Mr. Comstock was formerly employed by the Goetz Brewing Company. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Maude Comstock, Gower; a step-son, Ernest Spellman, Kansas City; three brothers George and Joseph Comstock, Kansas City, Mo., and Charles Comstock, Higbee, Mo., and a sister, Mrs. Alice Kirby, Higbee. The body is at Fleeman's mortuary. Note: The obituary came to me from Bonnie Boggs
