Janice Manuel Ridgeway January 23, 1945 - August 19, 2023 Downs Funeral Home A funeral service for Janice Manuel Ridgeway, 78, of Harleton, Texas will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 26, 2023, in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Piney Cemetery in Harleton, Texas. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Janice was born on January 23, 1945, in Hallsville, Texas to John Douglas Manuel and Gladys Phillips Manuel and passed away on August 19, 2023, in Longview, Texas. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and worked as a homemaker. She was a big fan of Fox News, crossword puzzles, listening to music and singing. She loved helping her husband Billy, rounding up the cows but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, John Douglas and Gladys Manuel; two brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her husband, Billy Ridgeway; children, Keith Ridgeway and Shauna Michelle Floyd; brother, Dan Manuel; eight grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren along with numerous other family and friends.
