Bio

Born to Jacob Yoes and Mary Reed in Arkansas, he married Elizabeth Jane Mankins Fine on May 14, 1848 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He became ill on the trip from Arkansas to Texas in 1861 or 1862. He was buried near Waco, Texas in either November 1861 or February 1862. The family lived with some relatives for a while before they settled in Williamson County, Texas.
