E F Featherston, 55, lifelong resident of Henderson county died at his home in Pickens Spur community Wednesday afternoon. His death was the seventh from pneumonia to occur in Athens and vicinity during the past month. Funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon with interment in the Davis Cemetery in the Pine Grove community. The deceased was born on Dec. 18, 1877 and had spent his life farming in this county. He is survived by his wife; one son, Clayton Featherston of Pickens Spur; two daughters, Mrs. Clark Moss of near LaRue, and Mrs. Robert Anthony of near Eustace.
