Hardin-----Rose V Watson, 74, of Hardin passed away Monday, July 29, in the Big Horn County Memorial Hospital following a short illness. She was born Aug. 8, 1916, in Clarks, NE, a daughter of Thomas and Mary Wolf. She grew up and attended schools in Sargent, Neb. Rosie married William "Bill" Watson in Sargent on Nov. 18, 1935. The couple made their home in the Sargent area, before moving to Hardin in 194L The couple farmed and raised cattle in the Hardin area. Mr. Watson died in 1987. She loved to be around horses and work in her flower and vegetable gardens. She also enjoyed reading and working with wood, but her main interests were her children and grandchildren. Rosie was a member of the SL Joseph Catholic Church, SL Ann's Circle, Catholic Daughters of America and the Altar Society. Survivors include four sons, David and William, both of Lodge Grass, and Donald and Robert, both of Hardin; four daughters, Marguerite Richards of Snowflake, Ariz, Mary Oedekoven of Yuma, Calif, Terry A. Cook of Birnamwood, Wis, and Sharon R. Denniston of Butte; two sisters, Lucille Vose of Glasgow, Mo, and Sister Annie Scholastica of New Britain, two brothers, Robert Wolf of Ronan and Marvin Wolf of Roseburg, 25 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Prayer services will be held 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Bullis Funeral Chapel Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday in the St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Father Fabian Fehring, celebrant. Rite of Christian Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery with Bullis Mortuary of Hardin entrusted with the arrangements.. the Billings Gazette 7-30-1991
