The date and place of death for Johanna is a bit of a question; however, her place and date of death can be narrowed down by looking at the birth of her youngest daughter, Ludmilla. Ludmilla appears on the 1900 Census, which was taken 9 June 1900 in Fort Bend County with her father, Ignac Janak, who is shown as widowed. The census shows Ludmilla as born in July 1897. Ludmilla's death certificate records a birth date of 19 August 1900. Therefore, one can assure that Johanna died between July 1897 and 9 June 1900.
