Bio

At the Baptist Hospital, Alexandria, La., at 9 o'clock a.m. on Thursday, March 12, 1936, Mrs. Elizabeth Swinnie, aged 43 years. Deceased was the wife of Lucian Swinnie. The family reside on the extension of Jackson Street. Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter and two sons, Mrs. F. Fountain, Fred and Roy Swinnie, all of Alexandria. She also leaves her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Michiels of Alexandria, four brothers and four sisters. They are: Frank, John and Louis Michiels of Alexandria and Roy Michiels of New Orleans; Mrs. L.W. Head of Shreveport, Mrs. A. Klawitter of Wisconsin, Mrs. C.O. Rowlins of New Hampshire and Mrs. John Middleton of Alexandria. The funeral procession will leave the family residence at 8:45 o'clock tomorrow, Friday morning and go to St. Francis Xavier's Cathedral, where services will be conducted after which interment will be made in Greenwood Memorial Park, under the direction of Kelly Funeral Home.
