Bio
Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Monday in Athens for Noah E. Webb, 71, who passed away in a Terrell hospital at 6 a. m. Saturday after a lengthy illness. Services were held from the Hassell and Foster Chapel with the Rev. Oscar T. Smith officiating, and burial was in Davis Cemetery. Survivors are a son, Edgar Webb of Tacs, N.M.; five daughters, Mrs. Addie Crawford of LaRue, Mrs. Susie Warren of Athens, Mrs. Judy Slagle of Dallas, Mrs. Mable White of Fort Ord, Ca., and Mrs. Annie Ruth Lambright of Greely, Colorado; a half-brother, Richard Browning of Athens; two half-sisters, Mrs. R. E. Stogner of Waco and Mrs. T. H. Gracey of Poynor, 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
