Bio
Frank Harelson Sr. Frank, age 79, went to be with his wife and pup in Heaven on Monday, July 10, 2023. He was a resident of Springfield, LA. Frank was a hard worker who dedicated many years as a plant operator for Gulf States Utilities. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Frank was an easy-going guy that liked to stay to himself. He enjoyed being home and working around the house and in the yard. Every weekend he could be found at his sister's house playing cards or having crawfish boils. Frank loved his family, especially the ones that called him Gramps. He was a loving husband, wonderful father, fantastic brother, and one of a kind grandfather who will be deeply missed. He is survived by his daughters, Tammi Griffeth (Gary), Renee Harelson (Martin); son, Frankie Harelson Jr. (Angel); sisters, Norma Sue Drago, Lorraine Nickens; grandchildren, Shelbi Evans (Nate), Keaton Griffeth, Mikhaela Gautreaux, Taylor Babineaux, Frankie Harelson III; great-grandchildren, Olive Elaine Evans, Ahnaliis Lily Gautreaux, and Anderson Lane Gautreaux; and fur baby, Cici. Frank is preceded in death by his wife, Joy Harelson; parents, Norman and Pearl Harelson; and fur baby, Angel. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home at 12012 Hwy 190 W. Hammond, LA 70403 on Thursday, July 13, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
