Lindsey, 80, of Route 5, will be at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, with the Rev. James E. Davis officiating. Burial will be in Simmons Cemetery following the services. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Mr. Lindsey died in a local hospital Thursday. He was born Aug. 12, 1896 in Kentucky to William A. and Mary A. Saling Lindsey. He married Sarah A. Skaggs in Greenville on August 26, 1917 and was a farmer. Mr. Lindsey was a member of the United Pentecostal Church. He is survived by his wife; his sons J.D. Lindsey, Greenville; W.M. Lindsey, Greenville; and C.W. Lindsey also of Greenville. Other survivors included his daughters, Mrs. Ellen Lively, Lone Oak; Mrs. Ruby Mize, Rockwall; Mrs. Pauline Blount, Dallas; and one brother F.E. Lindsey, Idalou; 20 grandchildre (sic), 29 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Greenville Herald Banner, Sat, 2 Apr 1977, A2, Deaths, Lindsey Services for Noah M. Lindsey, 80, of Route 5, will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Coker-Mathews-Peters Chapel, with the Rev. James E.
