Bio

Mary B Floyd, 77, passed away peacefully on April 14th, 2023. Mary was born in Alvin, Texas on July 21, 1945, to B. Coleman and Ethel Bristow. Mary was known for her sharp wit and her delicious cooking. She was a woman of many talents. She loved plants and gardening and sewing Halloween costumes for her grandchildren. She created beautiful quilts and worked with ceramics. She also loved God and enjoyed her church. Mary is preceded in death by her loving husband, Gene Floyd and her siblings, Marie Mills, Dorothy Thompson, Leon Coleman, Berry Lee Coleman and her parents, B. Coleman and Ethel Bristow. Mary is survived by her children Kim Woodard and Troy Floyd along with many loving grandchildren. A private gathering for family and friends will be held on June 24th in remembrance of Mary.
