Bio

Jacob Isaac Hannell was born on 22 March 1810, in Alsace, France. He was the son of Valentin Haenel Hannel (1783 France - 1835) and Maria Margaretha Grall (1780 France - 1821 France). He married Sarah Kopp about 1833, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. They were the parents of 7 children. He died in November 1883 in Indiana, at the age of 73.
