Effie Yates was the daughter of Leander Harvey Criswell and Emma Adaline Neeley Criswell. She was born in Lavaca County, Texas. She was married to Robert Henry Yates 19 Nov 1893 in Kaufman County, Texas. They were parents of seven children. She died in Altus, Oklahoma. Child not linked: Charles Davis Yates Effie's brother, Dial O'Daniel Criswell's name has always intrigued me to learn if he was related to the Eldorado Dial Family. As of 2022, I have researched this name back far enough to determine there is no relationsship to the Dial Family in Eldorado.
