Bio

"CISCO, Oct. 16. -- A. P. Slater, 70, a resident of Cisco for 30 years, during most of which time he was engaged in the grocery business, died Wednesday at his home after a long illness. Funeral services were held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, Rev. F. E. Singleton, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating, and the body was sent to Santa Anna for burial. His wife survives.
