Larry "Butch" Marvin King On February 22, 2018, Larry Marvin King passed away at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri, at the age of 65. Larry was born March 18, 1952 in Roseburg, Oregon to Herbert M. King & Nina M. Hutchison King. He was preceded in death by his father, and a granddaughter. He is survived by his mother, Nina King of Jay, OK. Also, his wife, Birtha "BJ" King, of Jay, OK. He has a daughter, Angela Pritchard, of Jay, OK; 2 sons, Mike King & wife Joy of Tulsa, OK, and Larry Wayne King, of Nephi, Utah; 10 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Danny King & wife Billie of Jay, OK and Darwin King & wife Leslie of Flint Ridge, OK; 5 sisters, Brenda Rowe & Dixie Tiedeman both of Grove, OK, Tamara "Carol" Giles & husband Rusty of Jay, OK, Pat Andrews & husband Ivan of Zena, OK, Judy Musgrove & husband Ray of Benton City, Washington. He also leaves behind several nieces & nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins & friends. Larry supported his family for several years as a truck driver and musician. He's a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, & uncle, that will be dearly missed. He was a simple man that lived a simple life. He loved & enjoyed spending time with his family. He enjoyed having get togethers with family and friends, playing music, and enjoying good company and making lots of memories. Everyone that knew him will be greatly affected by his loss; he will be truly missed but, never forgotten. Larry will be remembered in death as in life with a private gathering of his family and friends at his home for a memorial that will be held at a later date.
