Source: Daily Ardmoreite • HEALDTON -- Services for Alline Morriss Riley, 87, will be at 2 p.m. today at Roberts Funeral Home Chapel, formerly the Assembly of God Church, with the Rev. Danny Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow at Ringling Memorial Cemetery. Alline Morris Riley, "Mother," was born Aug. 24, 1914. She went to be with her Lord and savior March 14, 2002, in Ardmore. Alline married Raymon Herrin in 1932 and they had four children together. She later married Wesley Riley in 1967. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Lela Morriss, two brothers, eight sisters, both husbands, her oldest son, Billy Ray, and grandson, Bobby. She is survived by her son, Will Herrin, and his wife, Peggy, of Wilson, Okla.; her daughter, Cleota Brown and her husband, Ed, of Bakersfield, Calif.; her daughter, Gaylene Tayar and her husband, Joe, of Healdton, Okla., a daughter-in-law, Dola Herrin of Middletown, Calif.; stepsons, Wesley Riley and his wife, Jan, of Healdton, Okla., and Randall Riley of Fresno, Calif; grandsons, Kenneth and Gary Herrin of Middletown, Calif., Russ Akins of Fresno, Brian Akins of Bakersfield, Rick Herrin of Oklahoma City, Okla., Cameron Herrin of Purcell, Okla.; and granddaughters, Pebbles Nugent of Ardmore, Okla., and Jennifer Kinsey of Healdton; 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Al Kennedy of Healdton, and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Riley was of the Pentecostal faith. Her walk with the Lord was always the most important part of her life. She is now in the arms of our heavenly Father. Next to God, her family was the focus of her life. She was a wonderful sister, wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She adored all her sisters, children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews as they adored her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
