Researcher's Note: ( [email protected] ) Middle Name: There is some question to Benjamin's middle name. I have found sources showing both Franklin and Taylor. Steve Fancy / Sue Damewood research supports his middle name as Taylor. The 1910 Census includes his middle initial ... when I compared the handwriting on the page it looks like the old fashion scripted T. His WWI Draft Registration Card has his full name written out as Taylor. This was 1917, when both of his parents were still alive. He had a mental disability ... since his 1940 residence was the State Training School (Home For Feeble Minded) and he was disqualified for the draft. I know his headstone shows the letter F, however, that was the only source that I could find to support Franklin. The grave was without a stone for many years and when a gravestone was added after 1991 - I since have learn from the kind members of our family which placed the headstone - an error was made and accidently the letter "F" was placed as his middle initial on the headstone. This slight mishap has caused several people to document him incorrectly. Never Married / No Descendants
