Jenny Baker Robinson's parents were Robert Peter Conway Baker and Elizabeth Betsy Perry. They are buried in unmarked graves in White County, Arkansas. Jenny first married James M. Matthews on April 16, 1891, in White County, Arkansas. They were the parents of one son. After being widowed, Jenny Baker Matthews married John Ervin Robinson on August 6, 1902, in Glen Rose, Somervell County, Texas. John and Jenny Robinson had four children who lived to maturity: Jennie Callaway "Susie" Robinson, Mary Florence Robinson, James Perry "Bill" Robinson, and Nora Frances Robinson. In addition, John and Jenny Robinson had a set of twin boys who died in infancy. These twins boys were born between daughters Susie and Florence. After the birth of their daughter Nora in 1909, John and Jenny Robinson had another daughter who died in infancy. ******************************************************************************************* OBITUARY FROM THE LIBERTY VINDICATOR, January 6, 1944: Dayton Mother Dies Tuesday Mrs. Jennie Robinson, 71, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. H. Eaton, in Dayton, at 8 a.m. Tuesday, January 4. Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 5, with Rev. T. J. Kinard of Crosby, officiating and interment was made in Linney cemetery, near Dayton, with Pace-Stancil of Liberty in charge. Mrs. Robinson is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Florence White, Mrs. Johnnie Frazier and Mrs. R. H. Eaton of Dayton; two step-daughters, Mrs. Laura Morris and Mrs. Jane Trahan of Dayton. Two sons, James Perry Robinson of Dayton and Luther Matthews of Walnut Springs; two step-sons, Dick and Monroe Robinson of Dayton; two brothers, John Baker of Cleveland and Ashley Baker of DeRidder, La., also 15 grandchildren.
