Margie White married Morris Monroe "Pete" Nelms on February 14, 1947. They were the parents of one daughter, Cheryl Elizabeth Nelms, and one son, Morris Monroe Nelms, Jr. **************************************************************************************** OBITUARY FROM THE LIBERTY VINDICATOR: Margie Nelms HARDIN -- Graveside services for Margie Nelms, 71, of Hardin, were held June 14 at Linney Cemetery with the Rev. Kelly Burmaster officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Sterling Funeral Home of Dayton. Nelms died June 13 in Liberty. A lifetime resident of the Liberty area, Nelms was a homemaker who enjoyed painting and gardening. Survivors include her husband, Pete Nelms of Hardin; one son and daughter-in-law, Morris and Wanda Nelms of Hardin; one brother, Johnny Frazier of Hardin; and three grandsons, Ricky and Rusty Dominy of Hardin and Richard "Zack" Mazac of Austin.
