Carling Huntington Childs 1922 - 2011 ❦ Carling was born September 19, 1922, in Springville, Utah, to Chauncey Huntington Childs and Erva Carling Childs. He enlisted into the United States Army on January 13, 1941. On June 22, 1946, he married Vivian Veryl Cai in Inglewood, California. He later married Bessie Ann Jarvis MacDonald on March 15, 2005, in the Los Angeles California Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Carling Huntington Childs, long-time resident of Fullerton, California, died March 30, 2011, of natural causes.
