Edith T. Srb, 89, 1410 Lief Drive, died Sunday, Sept. 25, 1988, in a Sioux City hospital after a long illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel with the. Greg Witte of Augustana Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be from 7-9 p.m. today with a prayer service at 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Mrs. Srb, the former Edith Theresa Johnson, was born Jan. 4, 1899, in Sioux City, daughter of John and Emma (Berg) Johnson. She was a lifelong Sioux City resident. On Dec. 21, 1931, she married Stanley Srb in Sioux City. He died Dec. 5, 1966, at Laurel, Neb. She was formerly employed by Dun and Bradstreet and the Sioux City Credit Bureau. She was a member of Augustana Lutheran Church, WELCA and Rachel Circle of the church. She also was a member of Azure Chapter 540 Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include a daughter, JoAnn D. Dickman of Sioux City; two grandchildren, Cindy and Craig Dickman of Sioux City and three nieces, Virginia Gallagher and LeVerne Levay, both of Sioux City and Dorothy McCoy of Irvine, Calif. Pallbearers will be Dudley Gallagher, Wayne Levay, Bill and Jerry Levay, Ronald Will and Richard Anderson. The Sioux City Journal, September 27, 1988
