Bio
Funeral service for Joyce Coker Friddle, age 91 of Como, Texas will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Greenpond Baptist Church with Bro. Terry Bolton officiating. Interment will follow at Greenpond Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday and Friday, April 6 and 7th, from 6:00 to 8:00 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mrs. Friddle passed away on April 3, 2023 at Christus Mother Frances – Sulphur Springs. Joyce was born on September 24, 1931 to Sam and Dolly Coker. She worked for over 24 years at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital, where she was in charge of the General Store. She married Albert Woolverton in Rockwall, Texas in 1952. She is survived by her son, Terry Woolverton and wife, Carolyn A. Woolverton; grandson, Westley R. Woolverton and wife, Kelly Woolverton; great granddaughter, Charlotte A. Woolverton; daughter-in-law, Mary Woolverton; grandchildren, David Woolverton Jr, Amanda and Aaron Ross; great grandchildren, Allen Woolverton, Charlotte and Evey Ross. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James D. Friddle and youngest son, David Woolverton Sr.
