Bio
Cecil L. Querry received word Saturday of the death of his mother, Mrs. Margaret Lou (Oglesby) Querry, age 74, at the St. Joseph Hospital at Mishawaka following a fall the previous week. Born October 24, 1870 near Francesville a daughter of Benjamin Oglesby and Elvira (Fredrick) Oglesby she came to Medaryville with her parents. She was married to William L. Querry in 1891, who proceeded her in death in 1926 as did also one daughter. She was a mother of six children and a member of the Medaryville Methodist church. Surviving are four sons, Cecil L., of Medaryville, Owen L., of Dodgeville, Wis., Floyd L. of South Bend, Wilbur L., of Mishawaka; one daughter, Mrs. Vera L. Huppert of Mishawaka, two brothers, Ben Oglesby of Rensselaer, George Oglesby of Longview, Washington; three sisters, Mrs. Mae Tilton of Indianapolis, Mrs Maude Quick and Mrs Sadie Jackson of Knox. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 pm at the Medaryville Methodist Church with Rev. Gilbert Piker officiating with burial in the Medaryville cemetery.
