Bio

Mary Margaret Bowen, 93, of Avondale died Nov. 16, 2006, at Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix. Mrs. Bowen was born in Bela, Pa., to Salinda and William Kifer. She was an ordained minister for 70 years, traveling across the United States and Mexico. Mrs. Bowen was preceded in death in 1986 by her husband. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Nov. 27, followed by a service at 10:30 a.m., at Emmanuel Pentecostal Holiness Church, 8116 W. Varney Road in Peoria. Interment will be at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale. Adobe Chapel Funeral Home in Avondale made the arrangements.
