Bio
Daughter of John and Amalie Baletka Surovik. On 17 March 1944, she married Robert Alexander Lyons in Oklahoma City, OK. They moved to Sherman with their family in 1955, and lived there together until his death in 1989. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Parish for more than 50 years, and the Legion of Mary. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and their son, James Richard Lyons. Left to mourn her passing are her children, Peggy Jackson and her husband, James of Sherman, Robert Lyons Jr. and his wife, Cindy of Carrollton, TX, and Patricia Heck and her husband, Jim of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Kelly Simmons and husband, Mickey of Mason, OH, Amy Jackson and James Jackson of Sherman, Adam, Andrew and Jared Lyons of Carrollton, Mathew and Stephen Heck of San Antonio; and great-grandchildren, Casey Jackson of Sherman and Michael Simmons of Mason.
