Loyce Yvonne Davis March 23, 2023 Loyce Yvonne Davis, 68 passed away on March 23, 2023 at Hendrick Hospice Care in Abilene, Texas. Her wishes were to be cremated and no services are planned at this time. McCoy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Yvonne was born on Sept. 13, 1954 in Sterling City, TX to Loy Mitchel and Shirley Passmore. She was raised in West Texas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Blackwell Tx. She was a LVN for 36 years. Her most recent employer was Robert Lee Care Center. Yvonne loved her grandchildren to the moon and back and loved spending time with them. She loved a good garage sale or just shopping at Goodwill. She was handy with her Cricut machine and loved making all kinds of stuff with it. She loved her hummingbird feeders, and I think she named every bird that came to get a drink. She is preceded in death by her daddy, Loy Mitchel; her sister, Sallye Stewart; and her grandmother, Ruby Jewel Daves. Survivors include her daughter, Jeana Davis of Blackwell,Tx; her son, Doug Davis Jr. and his wife Shauna of Wolfforth, Tx; grandchildren, Montana Davis of Pampa, Tx, Levi Davis of San Angelo, Tx, Kiyah Villasenor of Lubbock, Tx, Kenli Muncy of Wolfforth, Tx, Annette Burk of Floresville, Tx and Garrett Davis of Wolfforth, Tx; great-grandchildren; Christian Garcia and Noah Garcia of Floresville, Tx; her mother, Shirley Passmore; her brother, Randy Mitchel; and her sister, Amy Davis, all of Blackwell, Tx; and numerous nieces, nephew, aunts and cousins. A very special thanks to all the nurses and doctors at Hendrick CCU and Hendrick Hospice for the care that they gave our sweet momma.
