Bio

Inez Hulene Mohr, 87, of Columbus, Nebraska, died Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at Cottonwood House in Columbus. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 11:00 A.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Revs. Patrick Sparling and Peter Jurchen officiating. There will be a private interment at a later date. There will be a visitation on Saturday from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. at the church with a family prayer service at 10:45 A.M. Hulene was born June 6, 1928, in Trinidad, Colorado to Henry and Ruth (Henline) Wilkens. She attended school in Golden, Colorado. In 1951, Hulene was united in marriage to Clarence Tuttle. They lived in Crete, Nebraska, where she worked at Form Fit for many years, working as a seamstress. She later also worked for Doane College as a custodian. On July 21, 1990, Hulene married John Mohr in Columbus, which they then made their home in. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and enjoyed camping, crocheting, and doing all types of sewing. Hulene is survived by: Husband: John Mohr of Columbus, NE Daughter: Sandra Arline (Sandi) Meinke (August 31, 1948) of Lincoln, NE Son: Harold Glen (Virginia) Tuttle (September 15, 1949) of Canyon Lake, TX Stepdaughter: Diane Ohlson of Lincoln, NE Stepdaughter: Ruth Stuckey of Euless, TX Stepson: Ron (Kim) Mohr of Columbus, NE Stepson: Tim (Kelly) Mohr of Columbus, NE 11 Grandchildren 11 Great Grandchildren Hulene was preceded in death by: Parents: Henry & Ruth Wilkens 1st Husband: Clarence Tuttle Sons: Danny and Tim Tuttle Stepson: Larry Mohr Son-in-law: Mervin Meinke Sister: Georgia Hohmann Brother: Gary Wilkens
