Bio

N.B Roberts, 45, a World War 11 veteran, was buried in Sycamore Cemetery Dec. 24. Rev. Charles Taylor and James Scott officiated at services held in the Sycamore Baptist Church. Roberts, a native of Wise county, was killed in a car accident Dec. 22 about nine miles east of Decatur. He is surivived by his wife; two sons, Joe Bert Roberts and Jim Bob Roberts; one daughter, Jerry Beth Roberts; his Mother, Mrs. Bert Roberts of Decatur; and one sister, Mrs. R.E. Florida of Kerrick. Pallbearers for the service were James Wilson, Edgar Clark, Claude Robinson, Harold Ray Robinson, Charles Pitts, Charlie Webber, Guinn Fortenberry and Guy Fortenberry.
