Bio

Mrs. McGarrh dies at Stewart ; rites July 21 Mrs. Alpha Armanda Richardson McGarrh died July 19 at her residence at Stewart. She was 82 years old. A native of Montgomery County, she was a member of the Union Baptist Church. She was the widow of the late Nolen Albert McGarrh. Services were held July 21 at 2 p.m. at the Stewart Baptist Church, Rev. J. W. Nolen officiating. Burial was in the Sarepta cemetery. Lee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. McGarrh is survived by two children, Mrs. Augusta Burns, Stewart, and Mrs. Ruth Fox, Crenshaw; a sister, Mrs. Della Clark, Stewart; two grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
