Bio

"Melvin" was the first of 11 children born to William Harvey & Mary Elizabeth (Stephens) Dowell. He Married Jessie Adelia McDonald, lovingly called "Big Jessie" Dec. 5, 1919 in Moody, McLennan, Texas. They had two children, 1st son only lived a few days, 2nd son lived to adulthood (Harvey Don Dowell). They had many babies lost in miscarriage's.
