Bio

Linda Kay Takats, June 12, 1962 - January 19, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny C. Takats and Betty L. Takats, brothers, Johnny c. Takats Jr. and George Takats. She was one of the kindest, sweetest people you could ever meet. If there was any thing anyone ever needed she was more than willing to do whatever she could. She often said that that is what made her happy, along with her kids, she felt blessed beyond measure. We will miss her sense of humor, her gentleness and compassion, and know that she has deservedly reached heaven. Linda is survived by husband Troy, sister Barbara Takats, Daughters, Rachel Maines and husband Richard, Monica Mathis, and son Daniel Mathis, and her grandson Seth, niece Kandise Wood Takats and nephew Jeffrey Takats many cousins, aunts, friends, Especially Caroline Rollins, Tony Takats. Thanks to everyone for their prayers, We will miss her so much. A memorial service for Linda will be held Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Anderson Clayton Gonzalez Funeral Home, 1111 Military Parkway, Mesquite, Texas 75149. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, February 7, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 11:45 AM at DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211.
