Wilson- Graveside services for Judy Lea (McLane) Goodson, 79, of Wilson, are scheduled for 2:00P.M., Thursday, December 1, 2022, at the Bomar Point Cemetery in Wilson with Dakota Trevino officiating. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson. Judy was born April 16, 1943, at Waurika, to the late Mr. James Harold "Curly" McLane and Mrs. Virginia Florence (Forsythe) McLane. She departed this life November 24, 2022, at Wilson. Judy was raised south of Wilson at Post Oak attending school there initially graduating from Wilson High School in1961. She spent all her life in this area. Judy worked mostly as an LPN, retiring from the Ardmore Veteran's Home in 2006. She loved to read and collecting rocks. Judy loved her granddaughters and looked forward to seeing them always. Preceding her in death are her parents, James and Virginia; daughter, Kathryn Lea Goodson and brother, James William McLane. Survivors include her son, Benton Goodson and wife Beth of Wilson; granddaughters, Brittney Asbery and husband Dusty and Macy Goodson and fiancé Jacob Newby; great granddaughter, Harper Asbery; numerous other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Dusty Asbery, Jacob Newby, Jeff Stearns, Rodney Musgrove, Keith Flatt, and Marty Willingham. Honorary bearers are Dude Davis, Joe Dethloff, Joe Wayne Dethloff, Earl Dethloff, Roger Dethloff, Larry Forsythe, and Benny Forsythe. Family visitation will held from 6-8P.M. Wednesday evening at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.
