Daughter of Lewis B. Parker and Elizabeth Betsy Bounds Parker Sarah was married to Joseph L. Beech Sarah "Sallie" Parker Beech Sallie states on 1916 pension application that she had been in Mississippi for 31 years. It was about 1885 (this year is questionable) when she left Alabama. Joseph had been dead since 1864. Oldest son John would have been 35 and youngest (Joseph Siah) would have been 24. One record has her birthday listed February 14, 1830. 1870 United States Federal Census Name: Sarah Buch[Sarah Beach] Birth Year: abt 1845 Age in 1870: 25(35 on actual record but age according to birthday should be 39) Birthplace: Mississippi Home in 1870: Township 8, Jones, Mississippi Race: White Gender: Female Household Members: Name Age Sarah Buch 25 Berry Buch 18 Mary E Buch 15 Thomas Buch 13 Aaron Buch 11 Josiah Buch 9 The 1900 Jones Co. MS. census listed Sarah Beech as being 70 years old and a widow. 1900 United States Federal Census Name: Sarah Beech Home in 1900: Ellisville, Jones, Mississippi Age: 70 Estimated birth year: abt 1830 Birthplace: Mississippi Relationship to head-of-house: Mother-in-law Race: White Household Members: Name Age Alfred Robinson 51 May Edna Robinson 43 Sarah Beech 70 Laura Robinson 18 In 1910 she was listed as Sarah Page and a widow on the Jones county census record. She was living with Taylor and Edna Robinson. Name: Sarah Page Age in 1910: 80 Estimated birth year: abt 1830 Birthplace: Mississippi Home in 1910: 1-Bt, Jones, Mississippi Sallie was totally blind at the time of the pension application in 1916. She lived with Mary Edna and Taylor Robinson. She stated on that application that she had remarried and it was first suspected that it was to Thomas Beech her brother-in-law since her name didn't change. Then the census record in 1910 stated she was a widow with the last name of Page. This will require some more investigation. She died in 1919. No death record was located under the name Sarah or Sallie Beech or any combination for her at the Dept. of Vital Statistics in Jackson, MS. Another attempt will be made to find her death record under Sarah Page. For future research: One C.C. Page born abt 1810 was on the 1860 Washington co Al census. John Pace(Page) widow lived in Jones co in 1900 but he wasn't around on any more census records. He is a prime suspect for Sarah's husband as is Leonard Page.
