Elizabeth Pellegrin July 2, 1932 — December 20, 2022 Diamondhead Elizabeth Hoelscher Pellegrin "Evelyn", 90, of Diamondhead, MS passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022 in Diamondhead, MS. Elizabeth was an active member of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis, MS where she served on the Altar Society, Ladies Auxiliary, Angel Committee and the Robbonini Group Committee. She was a devoted Christian who attended weekly Mass & prayed her Rosary daily. She enjoyed needle work, crocheting, and gardening. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, Preston; parents, Olivia and George Greener, Walter and Mary Buxkemper; two brothers, Walter and Raymond Greener and sister Dorothy Russ. She is survived by her devoted children, Thomas (Fran), Lynn (Carolyn), Debra Scairono (Mark), Penny Majors (Henry); twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; seven sisters, Marie Campbell, Polly Whitlow (Ed), Claralee Gausemeir (James), Francis Elliot (Mack), Lucy Hatchtel (Kenneth), Carolyn Dutton (Donnie), and Anna League (Charles); two brothers, Henry Greener and Warner Buxkemper (Bee) and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul: P.O. Box 4098, Biloxi, MS 39535. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis, MS from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, MS at 1:30.
