Married to Harold Boyd Vernon, SR. January 13, 1951-July 31, 1998 Margie Marie Vernon, 75, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2008, in Burleson. Memorial service: was held Tuesday at Cana Baptist Church in Burleson. Margie was born Jan. 12, 1933, in Roscoe to C.L. and Alma Kreidel. She grew up in Sweetwater and in 1950 she married Harold Vernon Sr. They moved to Abilene and later to Wichita Falls where they raised their family. After retiring from Stanley Tools she moved to Burleson to live with her daughter. Margie had a love for embroidery and took great joy in giving items she had created to others. Margie was very loving and generous and will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Dorothy and Jo; brothers, Carl and Bill; and a great-grandson, Tyler. Survivors: Brother, Bob Kreidel of Sweetwater; daughters, Candy Tucker of Wichita Falls and Carolyn Dement of Burleson; sons, Buster Vernon of Brazoria and Brad Vernon of King George, Va.; grandchildren, Tanya, Sandra, Chris, Brian, Nick, Bo, Crystal, Gerrad, Adam and Alex; and great-grandchildren, Dalton, Ryan, Damian, Matthew, Ashlyn, Boyd, Max and Olivia.
