Carl Kreidel Dies at 69 SWEETWATER (RNS) - Carl L. Kreidel, 69, Nolan County resident 44 years and a retired farmer and carpenter, died Friday after being stricken ill at his home, 903 Walnut. He was pronounced dead on arrival at 1.45 p.m. at Simmons Memorial Hospital. Funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in 4th & Elm St. Church of Christ, with the minister, Paul Rogers, officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery under direction of Cate-Spencer Funeral Home. Born Nov. 2, 1894, in Bastrop, he was a veteran of World War I. He married Alma Smith of Roscoe on Aug. 25, 1920. He was a member of the 4th & Elm St. Church of Christ. Surviving are his wife, three sons, Carl L. Jr. of Roby, Bobby W. of Sweetwater and Bill M. of Midland; three daughters, Mrs. O. C. Gabler of Roscoe, Mrs. H. G. Tidwell of Sweetwater, and Mrs. H. B. Vernon of Wichita Falls; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two brothers, W. F. of San Angelo and Emery of Azle; two sisters, Mrs. C. C. Davidson of Weatherford, and Mrs. Herman Spill of Winters.
