She was survived by three sons, Joe of Corpus Christi, John of Houston, and Pat, serving overseas with the Marines; three daughters, Mrs. J. C. Wharton of Laredo and Mrs. J. W. Halbrook and Mrs. Ronald Wilson of Corpus Christi; a brother, John Franklin of Cuero; and three sisters, Mrs. Fred Hyland, Mrs. Ernest Harper, and Mrs. Alonzo Allen, all of Beaumont ("Corpus Christi Times," August 23, 1944).
