Bio
Betty Shelley [Waddell] Betty, who was 93, passed away of natural causes peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by family, on November 27th, 2022 Betty moved to Oroville with her husband Hershel Shelley in 1971. Shortly thereafter, their three adult children also moved to Oroville. Betty was a homemaker and a Sunday School teacher for over 6 decades, and she always had a passion for music. She was predeceased by her son John Clois Shelley, and her husband Hershel Weldon Shelley. In 2009, Betty remarried a long time friend of the family, Charles Edgar Waddell. Charles passed away on February 19th, 2022. Ten months later, she followed him. She leaves behind her two adult children, Barbara Nash and Ray Shelley, her four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, january 7th, 2023 at Grace Baptist Church in Oroville, CA at 10:00
