William Milton Kellis , 81, of Jasper, passed away on Dec. 12, 2012, at Ridgeview Health Care. Mr. Kellis was retired from the U.S. Air Force and the National Weather Service with a total of 40 years of federal service. He was awarded several meritorious service medals and Air Force commendations for outstanding services. The family will remember William as a kind and loving companion of Mary for 42 years. He loved and served his country as a great patriot. Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at Kilgore-Green Chapel. Todd Hunter will officiate. He was preceded in death by his son, William M. Kellis Jr.; and parents, William Harold Kellis and Lula Ruth Kellis. He is survived by his wife, Mary F. Kellis. The family would like to say a special thanks to Southeast Hospice for their dedicated care and support.
