Bio

Frances M. Loraas , 59, of Kalispell died Wednesday of heart failure in the Kalispell Regional Hospital. Mrs. Loraas was born March 14. 1926, in Taylor. Texas, to Mr. and Mrs. Herbert¹ Bryan. She was educated in Texas and graduated from Taylor High School. She had lived in various locations throughout the United States and had worked for about 20 years as a certified dental assistant. In 1976 she came to Kalispell and married Richard M. Loraas. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church and the Ladies of the Moose. Survivors include her husband, Richard, Kalispell; a son, William A. Kellis, Anchorage, Alaska; five stepchildren, Katharine S. Moore, Sue Laporte and Tamera Loraas, all of Kalispell; Brian Loraas, Helena; Valora Loraas, Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska; a brother, Earl Bryan, Fort Worth, Texas; a sister, Flo White, Dallas, Texas; and five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Johnson Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Mel Oehrtman, pastor of the Calvary Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Glacier Memorial Gardens. Friends may call for visitation from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the Johnson Chapel.
