Bio

Nancy Greenlee Bostian, 96, of Florence, SC, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, November 9, 2022. Mrs. Bostian was born in Badin, NC, on January 26, 1926. She was the daughter of Francis Leland Greenlee and Mae Lewis Greenlee. She graduated from Lenoir Rhyne College in 1947 and did graduate work at USC and Francis Marion College. Mrs. Bostian began her teaching career in North Carolina, and retired from Florence District 1 in 1987. On June 4, 1947, she married Frank Sloop Bostian in Badin, NC. They were married for 54 years until Mr. Bostian's death in 2001. Mrs. Bostian was a member of First Presbyterian Church and was member and chair of Circle #9. She volunteered at the Manna House and Mercy Medicine.
