Bio
May is the daughter of John Wesley Lewis and Nancy Dennis. She married Francis Leland Greenlee on 1 January 1917, in Blount County, Tennessee. Please note that I have been unable to find a birth record for her and her other records are pretty divided on whether her middle name is May or Mae. For instance, her death record has her middle name as Mae. However that same death record lists her daughter as Dorthy, where her name is really Dorothy. Due to the discrepancies, I'm using the spelling on her headstone. Anything other than the spelling on a birth record is too often determined by whomever is recording the information.
