Sep. 17, 1931 - Oct. 30, 2022 Funeral services for Fred Muras will be held from the St. Mary's Catholic Church in High Hill, Texas on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 10 am. Visitation will begin to the public after 5 pm Tuesday, November 1 from Schwenke Baumgarten Funeral Home in Schulenburg, with the Parish rosary to be recited at 7 pm. Interment will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in High Hill, Texas. Full military honors will be conducted alt the cemetery by the Schulenburg American Legion. The family requests donations be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church or a charity of one's choice. Survivors include: daughters-Theresa Krecmer/husband Robert of Magnolia, Catherine Marek/husband Bobby of South Frydek, Ruth McCommas/husband Keith of Winona and Sarah Oertli/husband Karl of Weimar; son-Denis Muras/wife Sheryl of Sealy; sisters-Beatrice Sumbera of La Grange and Lillian Klesel of Weimar; 17 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
