OnSaturday, January 5, 2013 Find A Grave contributor Matt Provided the following information: Died 25 March 2011 Obituary lists birth date as 24 Sep 1917 (compared to the 26th on the stone) in Granger, Williamson County, Texas. Obituary Taylor Daily Press, 29 Mar 2011 Frances Marak, 93, of Granger, Texas went home to Jesus Friday, March 25, 2011. Frances was born Sept. 24, 1917 in Granger to Ignac and Frances "Nemec" Kahanek. Frances married Matt Marak Jr. in October of 1938. Frances is survived by her son Edmund Marak, sister Lillian Schwertner and brother Louis Kahanek, nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Matt Marak and two daughters, Mildred Collier and Dorothy Phillips, three brothers Frank, Andrew and Joseph, and two sisters Mary Marak and Angeline Klepac. There will be a Rosary from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 28 at Condra Funeral Home in Taylor. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 29 at SS Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Granger. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Granger. Arrangements are under the direction of Condra Funeral Home in Taylor.
