Bio

Dorothy Simon Phillips, 69, passed away Monday, Oct. 11, 2010 at her home in Granger. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010 at Providence Funeral Home chapel. Celebration of Life Mass will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15, 2010 at SS. Cyril and Methoduis Catholic Church in Granger. Dorothy was born Oct. 4, 1941 to Matt and Frances Marak in Williamson County, Texas. She is preceded in death by her father Matt Marak Jr. and sister Mildred Collier. Dorothy is survived by her mother, Frances Marak, children, Michael Simon and wife, Tamara, Morris Simon and wife Hope, Sarah Simon and Sharon Stefek and husband Danny, brother Edmond Marak and eight grandchildren.
