Bio
Marjorie I. Ganoung, age 99, of Grants Pass, died peacefully October 21, 2022 at her home. Marge was born June 13, 1923 in Sidney, Nebraska to Carl & Susie Morfeld. In 1936 she moved with her family from Sidney to Grants Pass. In 1940 she graduated from Grants Pass High School where she met fellow classmate Ed Ganoung Jr. They were married in 1943 and had three children. Marge was a homemaker and over the years sold Studio Girl cosmetics, Bee-line clothing, and was a cook at four local schools. Marge and Ed loved fishing, snowmobiling and the outdoors. Marge was an avid gardener. Survivors include son Donnie Ganoung; daughter Barbara Ganoung Crouse and husband Robert; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ed Ganoung Jr and her daughter Karen Ganoung Henderson. Private interment was held at Wilderville Cemetery next to her husband Ed.
