Anniston Star - 29 Dec 1986, Mon, p 20 Services for Mrs Maudie S Bentley, 100, of 500 Leighton Ave, Anniston, will be Tuesday at 2 pm at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be in Eulaton Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 tonight at the funeral home. Mrs Bentley died Sunday at Beckwood Manor. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs Mamie Best of Rome, Ga, Mrs Katherine Ellis and Mrs Lucille Schaffer, both of Anniston, Mrs Ruth Weincouff of Chicago and Mrs Laura Jemison of Montgomery; five sons, Ray Bentley and Frank Bentley, both of Anniston, Horace Bentley of Marietta, Ga, Will Bentley of Lincoln and Arthur Bentley of Birmingham; a stepson, Jeff Bentley of Boaz; 34 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be the grandsons. Mrs Bentley was a Georgia native and was a resident of Calhoun County most of her life. At the time of her death, she was the oldest member of Eulaton Baptist Church.
